Our New Website and Time to Vote!

New Website

The interim Ironwood Board has designed a new website for our neighborhood. Here you will find some helpful information and links pertaining to our community.  Upcoming Events can be submitted for the main page, an email subscription can be signed up for to get updates via email (such as this one), HOA Board meeting minutes are viewable as well as directory info for the Board should you need to contact us. In the future we hope to have online dues payment as well should the elected board convening in June want to implement such a solution.  Other helpful documents will be posted there soon also such as the Ironwood Declaration of Restrictions, Financial Policy, and By-Laws for the new HOA. Check it out for yourself: https://ironwoodrossford.com

If you DID NOT get this letter as an email, then you are not signed up on our email list. Please do so by visiting https://ironwoodrossford.com/news where you can subscribe with just your name and email address on the right side. We are asking that all residents do this as soon as possible. Thanks!

Vote for the 2015-2016 HOA Board

Our first official election is upon us! Voting is open from 5/15/2015 – 11:59pm on 5/27/2015. Polls close at midnight and votes will be tallied with winners hopefully announced on the website on the 29th!  The new board begins their year on June 1, 2015.

To be eligible to vote, you must be a Title Holder for a property in Ironwood. If your name and your spouse’s name are both on the title, you may both fill out ballots. We have pulled the latest information from the Wood County Auditor’s website to confirm eligible voters.

There are 6 candidates running for 5 open spots on a one year term. Speaking of the website above, this is where you can vote! Just go to https://ironwoodrossford.com and click on the “Vote Now” button on the green bar. Or you can go directly there by visiting https://ironwoodrossford.com/vote instead. Online votes are emailed to a 3rd party, recorded in an online database, and emailed back to the voter for a record of their vote.

If you don’t have access to a computer or smart-phone, or want to vote by more traditional means, you can pick up a paper ballot from Stacy Konidaris. Please contact her to schedule a time to pick up a registered ballot (716 W. Ironwood Dr. – 419-266-2309) and after you vote, you can seal your paper vote in an envelope, initial it, and drop it off in a collection box Dennis Meacham (1026 N. Ironwood Dr. – 419-349-8203) will have available. This two points of contact (ballots from one person, collected by another) helps ensure votes are not tampered with.  All votes are then opened and tallied by a third party (Gay Barker has graciously volunteered to assist us with this process) who will compare them with the online votes received as well to determine the winners.

The interim board has gone to great lengths to ensure a fair voting process for not only this election, but to lay the framework for future years as well and we’re very excited to kick it off now!

Sincerely,

The interim Ironwood Homeowners Association Board
